Online Video Troubleshooting Guide

The Online Video feature is totally dependent on the way an online video website (like YouTube) is setup. Some online video sites don't want its users to download videos so they constantly make changes to their websites to break video downloads. If this happens, you will likely see one of the errors below whenever you try to download a video.

File Not Found (404)

The video could not be downloaded because it could not be found on the web server. You should try downloading a different video.

If you get this error for all the videos you download from a specific online video site (like YouTube) then video downloads are currently broken. Until we can fix the problem, there is nothing you can do except try and download the video using another website or program.

Unknown Download Error

The video could not be downloaded due to an unknown error. You should try downloading a different video.
